Natural Carico Lake Sterling Stamped Ring Signed Darrin Livingston Size 9
Stone:
This simple but beautiful stamped sterling silver ring features a single lime green AAA grade Carico Lake Turquoise stone.
Carico Lake turquoise range from beautiful shades of blue to lime green. The lime green color is due to the high levels of faustite and zinc. Although blue turquoise is the majority produced, in recent years lime green has been most valued for its rarity and unique color.
The Carico Lake Turquoise Mine is a historic mine named for its home on a dried up lake bed located in Lander County, Nevada. Due to the short amount of time it's allowed to be mined each year, the supply of Carico Lake Turquoise is extremely limited.
Due to its increased interest and limited supply, Carico Lake turquoise has become a valued investment.
Artist:
Darrin Livingston is a respected Navajo silversmith and jewelry maker. He lives in Church Rock, New Mexico, where he has lived most of his life and are where his father and grandfather are from. He lives there with his family of four girls and one granddaughter. He learned his silversmith trade at the young age of 13. After graduating from high school, he honed his skills and decided to make a living as a silversmith. We have become a fan of Darrin's work and has quite a few of his jewelry in our collection.
My Philosophy:
I choose every piece of jewelry based on the value of the stone. Unlike most of the Turquoise on the market, the stone has to be high quality (not stabilized, not color treated and not reconstituted).
I also love jewelry with unique character and great craftsmanship. What this means is that you are getting jewelry that is a showstopper and not to mention a great investment.

Photography:
