Carico Lake Turquoise Cluster Mini Squash Blossom Necklace Signed Johnson

Stone:
This squash blossom necklace features a cluster of beautiful high grade Carico Lake mini turquoise cabs. It has a good mix of sky blue, military green, and some with brown webbing (rare, polished, natural). These stones came directly from the mine owner, a personal friend of mine.

Carico Lake turquoise range from beautiful shades of blue to lime green. The lime green color is due to the high levels of faustite and zinc. Although blue turquoise is the majority produced, in recent years lime green has been most valued for its rarity

Artist:
Bobby Johnson is longtime Navajo silversmith. He was born in Church Rock, New Mexico. He learned the tricks of the trade from his brothers and sisters who were master silversmiths. He began to silversmith in the early 1970's and his passion for the craft has led him to create amazing jewelry throughout the years.

My Philosophy:
I choose every piece of jewelry based on the value of the stone. Unlike most of the Turquoise on the market, the stone has to be high quality (not stabilized, not color treated and not reconstituted).
I also love jewelry with unique character and great craftsmanship. What this means is that you are getting jewelry that is a showstopper and not to mention a great investment.

The necklace beads measure 24 inches in total length (without pendant). The pendant measures 2 x 1-3/4 inches.
