Beautiful Handmade Dry Creek Turquoise with Silver Flowers Signed Marita Benally

This beautiful bracelet features a grade AAA robins egg blue Dry Creek Turquoise with a brown matrix on sterling silver overlay flowers.

Dry Creek Turquoise mine is a mine which is located in Lander County, Nevada. Dry Creek Turquoise has gained much popularity in recent years with its milky white and light blue coloring and brown matrix. This color of turquoise was not previously used in jewelry. Different from the White Buffalo from Tonopah, Nevada, Dry Creek is indeed considered a very rare mine, because the mine is currently closed. Dry Creek with brown matrix is the highest grade of this turquoise.

Artist:
Marita Benally is from the Navajo Indian Tribe. She was born and raised in Steamboat, AZ. Marita started her craftsmanship in the late 1990's, in which she credits her husband, Daniel Benally for teaching her everything that she knows about silver work and design. She enjoys and loves creating detailed and articulate designs. She currently works out of Gallup, New Mexico.

My Philosophy:
I choose every piece of jewelry based on the value of the stone. Unlike most of the Turquoise on the market, the stone has to be high quality (not stabilized, not color treated and not reconstituted).
I also love jewelry with unique character and great craftsmanship. What this means is that you are getting jewelry that is a showstopper and not to mention a great investment.
