Assymetric Geometrial Carico Lake Turquoise Sterling Silver Dangle Earrings
Stone:
These earrings are made with a mix of vibrant colors of carico lake turquoise. The deep blue color is rarely seen in Carico Lake.
Carico Lake turquoise range from beautiful shades of blue to lime green. The lime green color is due to the high levels of faustite and zinc. Although blue turquoise is the majority produced, in recent years lime green has been most valued for its rarity and unique color.
The Carico Lake Turquoise Mine is a historic mine named for its home on a dried up lake bed located in Lander County, Nevada. Due to the short amount of time it's allowed to be mined each year, the supply of Carico Lake Turquoise is extremely limited.
Due to its increased interest and limited supply, Carico Lake turquoise has become a valued investment.
Artist:
Ella Peter was born on April 2, 1943 from the Tsa-Ya-Toh area. Ella is from the Navajo Indian tribe. She has been silversmithing over 45 years creating handmade traditional jewelry. Her father taught her how to silversmith and basket weave at a very young age. She has loved silversmithing ever since she was little. Ella is a well known silversmith as her work is often seen at high end collections.
Our Philosophy:
We choose every piece of jewelry based on the value of the stone. Unlike most of the Turquoise on the market, the stone has to be high quality (not stabilized, not color treated and not reconstituted).
We also love jewelry with unique character and great craftsmanship. What this means is that you are getting jewelry that is a showstopper and not to mention a great investment.
